Is it a good time to get into online DVD rental? I wonder because there are so many out there. Companies seem to come out every day with a new online DVD rental program. However, the way I look at it, this is a great time to get in the game as a consumer. The competition to be the cheapest and most efficient online DVD company is fierce right now. Competition is great for consumers as each company will push its competitors to lower prices and quicker turn around.

An online DVD rental company is one that generally charges a monthly membership free. In exchange for that fee, you as the consumer, get to choose from a live of DVD’s, the ones you want to see. You are sent one of the movie off of your list and you get to watch it at your leisure. There are no late fees, but you don’t get the next movie until you send back the one you have. This method of DVD rental is a fantastic way to go if you watch a lot of movies. This is a great alternative to traditional DVD rental if you rent often. With the online DVD rental companies, you will likely pay less, then, to see more movies than you are accustomed to seeing.

If the online DVD rental sounds like it would work for you, then think about finding a service you like now. Currently, since Wal Mart and Blockbuster joined Netflix and a number of others in the game, the prices are dropping. In addition, you may find that many of them have great introductory offers. The prices have gotten down about as low as they are going to end up, but the introductory offers are how these online DVD rental companies are trying to compete for your business. So no time is better than the present to expand your DVD library without having to make a purchase.

Be careful, though. The prices can look tempting, but the online DVD rental companies are only good if you are going to watch enough movies to make it worth your while. If you rarely rent DVD’s, then you are better off to stick with the traditional movie rental establishment with free membership and a nominal rental fee. The hype over the online DVD rentals is high, so just make sure you don’t get caught up in wasting your money on something you don’t really use.

Renting DVD’s is a great way to entertain yourself and your family on a lazy night. However, with competition heating up in the online DVD rental business, the prices there are fantastic. You may want to think about whether or not online rental is something that might fit your budget and lifestyle. Check out the different companies and start up incentives to figure out which service to use. Be careful, though, it can be very easy to get caught up in the hype of online DVD rental. However, if you don’t rent often, then you are likely better off sticking with a traditional rental store. Check your budget and how often you rent and how much you spend to figure out what the best thing for you and your family. If it is right for you, though, now is the best time to get started in online DVD rental.

If you’ve been considering picking up att uverse you may want to think about competition … unless you appreciate choppy and endless on hold times to get in touch with someone on the telephone.

You’ve heard a load of great att uverse experiences and I’m providing the truth. I am really shocked at the number who were so positive. I’m heated because I was waiting for 47 minutes to speak with someone because my first bill was a disconnect notice and a charge of $279.

After being passed off to several fools, I was finally passed to a person who allegedly could make an adjustment on the what was due. After 17 minutes on hold, I was told that the initial person I chatted with could only change it. So, that was in the end way too long call that changed absolutely nothing since the other office closed while I was wasting time.

Added to that delightful , I’ve had a person come to my house 7 times for the grainy signal. Nothing changes. The only reasonI went with is because the number of channels has great potential and it costs lower than the competition. But seriously, I wouldn’t recommend attuverse to my worst enemy.

Screenrush, a subsidiary of French firm the AlloCine Group, was primarily set up as TV series portal. However, recently they have partnered with the UK based LoveFilm, providers of top quality online DVD rentals, to negotiate an exclusive twenty one day trial of their rental service completely free.

Alexandra Ouzilleau, Managing Director, Screenrush.co.uk, commented: “TV fans are so ardent about their favourite programmes and with almost too much choice and information available online, we wanted to create a comprehensive TV portal to better serve those fans.

Mr Ouzilleau, added: “New series of hit shows are often aired in the Autumn and so this partnership with LoveFilm will provide TV fans with a hassle-free way of catching-up on previous series.”

The users of screenrush will now be able to check up to date listing for films and TV shows, but at the same time look at what the latest listings are on LoveFilm and wonder about which ones they are going to have delivered.

The company may have only been in business since April of this year, but they can still boast to having well over five hundred thousand users every month. They are adding services all time and have recently finalised a deal with Sky Digital Media who will represent Screenrush.
